Just sitting here waiting for the game to kick off. Hopefully the younger lads will get a bit of a run out earlier this time. Fleck will hopefully start as he looked excellent when he came on against Blckburn. Maybe start Wylde wide left with Lafferty through the middle. Other than that i cant see many changes from the other day.
I suppose i should throw in an attack on celtic here just to keep paddypants happy..hahahaha.

Half time 0-0. We wont learn much from this game as the conditions are atrocious..constant downpour and the ground is heavily water logged which is making it hard going for both teams. In truth Sydney have had most of the ball but have only had 1 shot on goal. Rangers have com back into the game but i think it is a case of getting out of this with no injuries..a few palyers have taken knocks with players losing their footing. Naismith took a real sore one but thankfully got up to play on.
1 thing of note...a high hanging ball came into the Rangers box and Alexander failed to come for it that led to a bit of a scramble. I have noticed this is something that he struggles with the past.
Highlight of the 1st half was a run by Lafferty from the halfway line nutmegging man after man and when he went past the 5th player he passed instead of shooting from 18 yards.

In truth i dont think you can expect to learn much in practice matches, as thats basically what friendlies are, as you say to get the players through games, get a bikt of match fitness and avoid injury is the key. Pishing doon in Aussieland while we're having this sunshine! Haha

It is now unplayable...Lafferty seems to be the only Rangers player coping with it.

0-0 with minutes to play. It is now absolutely farcical with it impossible to pass the ball on the ground.
Rangers have dominated the the ball this half..something like 65%-35% but have only managed 2 or 3 attempts on goal. Lafferty MOTM with only really Mo Edu challenging him.
Finishes 0-0.

As Rangers are playing in Australia I feel that come mid Friday afternoon it warrants a tinnie or three of Fosters.
Always know when you've had enough, you hit the floor. Three things are required in this life for an existence of carefreeness - Dosh, a good wife and an endless supply of medecine, Harold - 1955 to present (I think).

I suggest you search for Red Stripe and take a Caribbean slant to the week end.
